What our labels mean
Every docs page and guide carries one label under its title. It says how the page is backed, strongest first. A label never claims more than the row below it.
- Release-proven
- Every check passed on one pinned build of the CLI and the platform.
- Machine verified
- A machine ran this on our install and checked the result against the CLI. A test report is linked.
- Executed
- Someone ran this on an identified install and recorded it.
- Documented
- Checked against the CLI's current help and source. Not run end to end.
- Upcoming
- Not proven yet. Do not rely on it.
In more detail
Section titled “In more detail”Release-proven. The strongest level. Every check passed on one pinned build, meaning one exact CLI version against one exact platform release. If either changes, the claim is void until the checks run again. No page has this label yet.
Machine verified. The page shows at least one Ask Quox conversation that our proof engine checked by machine. The engine compares Quox’s answer with what the system really returned, and the result is published as a test report you can open from the page. This is a test report from our proof engine, not a WARD action receipt. The label covers the Ask, not every sentence on the page.
Executed. Someone ran the steps on an identified install and recorded the take. No machine checked the result.
Documented. We checked the page against the CLI’s current help output and source. We have not necessarily run it end to end. Where a page shows terminal output from a real run, its note says so.
Upcoming. Not proven yet. The page says what is planned and must not be relied on.
Two version numbers
Section titled “Two version numbers”Pages name the CLI version they were checked against, as “CLI 0.3.1”. The platform (QuoxCORE) has its own release number, such as platform 4.2.5. They move independently.
