Approvals and receipts
Quox is built on one idea: you should not have to trust an agent, you should be able to check it. Two things make that real. When an agent wants to do something that matters, it stops and asks a human first. And every action leaves a record in WARD, a tamper-evident chain, that you can verify from your own terminal.
These guides show how to check a single receipt, pre-approve a routine lane, review pending policy changes, and look back through the audit trail.
- Check a receipt yourself Take one thing an agent did and verify, from your own terminal, that it was recorded and signed and has not been changed since. Documented 4 min
- Pre-approve a narrow lane For routine work you trust, grant one host one kind of command for a few days, instead of answering every request. Documented 4 min
- See policy changes waiting for sign-off Ask whether any governance policy change is waiting for a second person to approve it, then list them yourself. Machine verified 2 min
- Look back in the audit trail Ask what was recorded before a given date, then query the AEE audit trail yourself with quox aee query --before. Machine verified 2 min
