See what needs you, in one screen

Documented Checked against the CLI's current help and source. Not run end to end. CLI 0.3.1, checked 2026-10-13.

What you get: the first thing to look at each morning: everything your Quox can see, read for you, most urgent first.

One command gives you the whole screen, with every area and every item:

sitrep
quox sitrep╭─ ✔ Approvals ─────────────────────────────────╮│ Nothing waiting for you ││ last: An agent wants to r… (approved) 40m ago │╰───────────────────────────────────────────────╯╭─ ✔ Builds ────────────────────────────────────╮│ Builds idle ││ last: web build gone (dealt with) 14m ago │╰───────────────────────────────────────────────╯╭─ ⚠ Plans ─────────────────────────────────────╮│ Decisions waiting: WEB-12 (10d19h), OPS-4 ││ (46d8h); 16 kept aside │╰───────────────────────────────────────────────╯
From a real run on our own install. Trimmed to three of ten areas, with the list of items left out; names changed.

Read it top down:

  • The first paragraph sums up the whole situation in plain words, including anything Quox cannot see.
  • The areas (approvals, messages, calls, sessions, systems, security, builds, plans, money, people) each show now and the last thing that happened.
  • Needs you lists items with who, what, why, when, and what you can do about each.
Terminal window
quox sitrep --spoken # sentences only, as read on the phone
quox sitrep --json # the full structured situation, for scripts
quox sitrep --agent # compact, with ids, for agents

In the conversation, /sitrep shows the same thing.

LUCID read your Quox’s own records (the approvals queue, run history, server reports and the rest) and ranked them. No AI model was called, so it is fast, free, and says only what the records say.

To see which sources are reporting and which went quiet, see Find what Quox cannot see.

Nothing to undo: a sitrep only reads.
