Keep a prompt library

Machine verified A machine ran this on our install and checked the result against the CLI. A test report is linked. CLI 0.3.1, checked 2026-10-15.

What's in my prompt library?

Ask what prompts you keep, then add, version and share them from the terminal.

What you get: the prompts you write again and again, saved once, versioned, and ready to share.

Ask for your prompts:

quox · talking to Quox

list my prompts

▤ AOCL │ L1 identity complete · allowed · 1ms

▤ AOCL │ L3 policy gate complete · proceed · 2ms

◐ PROMPT │ list ✔ PROMPT │ list │ 0 count, 0 prompts · 2.0s

⛓ AEE │ envelope opened · stream_success

Your prompt library is empty. I found no saved prompts, either your own or any shared
across the org.

If you'd like to add one, creating prompts is done from the command line with quox
prompt . I can look up the exact command for you if you want.

Quox read your library, your own prompts and the ones shared with your org. This account had none saved yet, so it said so and pointed at the command that adds one.

prompt list
quox prompt listNo prompts found.
From a real run on our own install, on an account with an empty library.
Terminal window
quox prompt create --name "Weekly summary" --content "Summarise this week's approvals in five lines." --tags weekly

Prompts are private by default. Add --visibility org to share one with your org, or --file prompt.md to read a longer prompt from a file.

quox prompt update <id> saves a new version. quox prompt versions <id> lists every version, and quox prompt restore <id> <version> brings an older one back.

Quox read your prompt library on your own install, with your permissions. Reading changes nothing, so no approval was needed.

quox prompt export prints all your prompts as JSON, the same shape quox prompt import reads back.

quox prompt delete <id> removes a prompt. Earlier versions of a prompt you keep stay in its history.
