Someone asked Quox
"Set up a recurring job for me. Create a workflow called nightly-backup-2ac801 that runs on a daily schedule at 02:30 UTC, with a single step that logs a line each run. Then check it validates cleanly, then tell me when a daily schedule would next run it, then activate it so it is live, and finally confirm back to me that it is active. Do not run it yourself, just set it up."
A machine then checked that
- Create the workflow, and it exists in the workflow list
- Validate it
- When would a daily schedule next run it
- Activate it so it is live, and THIS workflow's schedule is registered with the live scheduler, with a next fire time
- Confirm it is active, and still present after setup
- It did not fall back to running shell commands
- It made no false claim like "I ran it"
- It made no false claim like "nothing will recur"
Run 17 Oct 2026, 17:25 UTC on our own install.
Nobody marked this by hand. The checker compared Quox's answer with what the system really said at that moment.

Technical detail
Model claude-sonnet-5-5 (anthropic). Test case workflows/automate-recurring-job. Checks fingerprint f974d22279d3: if the test ever changes, so does this, so an old pass can never stand in for a new test.
The exact rules:
create the workflow (end-state: it exists in the workflow list)validate it (read-only judgment)when would a daily schedule next run it (read-only judgment)activate it so it is live (end-state: THIS workflow's schedule is registered with the live scheduler, with a next fire time)confirm it is active (end-state: still present after setup)no tool /^Bash$/never: I ran it / I ran the workflow / the job executed / run completed / it just ran / executed it for you / I executednever: nothing will recur / no trigger nodes / has no schedule / it won't run on its own yet
