About Quox

The evidence layer for autonomous AI.

AI agents are gaining authority. Quox builds the infrastructure that keeps a tamper-evident record of what they did. Open protocols, verifiable audit trails, self-hosted by default.

Verifiable operations ledger: the append-only record of agent operations
A real screen: the append-only ledger, every entry chained to the one before.

Three categories. Nobody covers all three.

Governance

Quox

What the agent decided, why, and whether you can prove it.

40%

of agentic AI projects will be cancelled by 2027 due to inadequate risk controls.

Open protocols

Four protocols. Specified, implemented, and open.

We did not build proprietary formats. We wrote protocol specifications, open-sourced them, and are on the path to submitting them to the body that standardised HTTP.

What that means in practice

Every action leaves a receipt.
Every receipt binds to the last.

This is the shape of a Quox audit trail: each agent action is sealed into a hash-linked receipt, so removing or editing any step breaks the chain visibly.

Principles

What we stand for

01

Safety first

Every AI action is guarded by multi-level safety controls with human approval workflows.

02

Transparency

No black boxes. Every decision is logged, traceable, and auditable through open protocols.

03

Open standards

Built on open protocol specifications, not proprietary bolt-ons. All four filed as IETF Internet-Drafts. Interoperability by design.

04

Self-hosted

Your infrastructure, your data, your control. Cloud optional, never required.

The platform

One platform. Every scale.

Free core. Premium plugins. Enterprise contracts. A student and a FTSE 100 install the same thing.

Pre-revenue. Pre-raise. Not pre-product.
Every component is running code.

Company

Quox LTD

A UK company building trust infrastructure for AI agent operations, registered in England and Wales and working from London.

Quox (pronounced “kwox”) is an invented name. Unlike AEE, AOCL, VOLT and WARD above, it is not an acronym.

If you want to talk to us about the platform, the protocols, or investment, the record on the right is the whole front door.

Founder's note

Why I built Quox AI

As AI became more powerful, I wanted to deploy more and more automations across the businesses and clients I am responsible for. But agents need somewhere to live. They need to be monitored. They need to have great logging that tells you everything that happened.

Sometimes you need to prove what happened and when and why. They all need various levels of access to varying levels of blast radius and potential damage. They need tools. Sometimes delegation.

Often they would need human assistance to operate safely around my businesses and clients. I needed to be able to run numerous automations in multiple places safely and reliably.

The close

The question is not whether this infrastructure is needed.
The question is who builds it.

We already have.
