Included with Dev Servers · Shared Skills + Rules
Write the discipline once. Every machine obeys it.
Skill packs ship your engineering standard as software: a signed pack of skills and rules, delivered to every dev server at registration, rendered natively for Claude and Codex alike, and kept in sync by content hash.

What it is, where it lives, when to reach for it
- What is it
- A signed bundle of agent skills and shared rules, included with Dev Servers and installed on every dev server.
- Where do I use it
- On your dev servers, in the files Claude Code and Codex already read before working.
- When would I use it
- When every machine has drifted into its own habits and you want one rulebook everywhere.
- How do I use it
- You do not install it by hand: registering a dev server delivers it, and
quox dev skills sync <hostId>updates it.
The model
Pack, deliver, render. Then keep it true.
The way your team builds, tests, commits and verifies is your real engineering standard, and today it lives in heads and dotfiles, drifting per machine.
Team discipline as software
Your build rules, your git discipline, your verification habits, your operator skills: today they live in tribal knowledge and drift per machine. Shared Skills + Rules makes them a signed, versioned artifact: one canonical source, a registry record of exactly what ships.
Registration installs it
Enrol a dev server and the pack arrives with the kit, no hand steps. Skills land exactly where the backend discovers them, an install marker records the precise content hash, and a drifted or edited file on any host is detected and resynced.
One rulebook, every backend
The same shared rules render natively for each agent backend: managed blocks in CLAUDE.md for Claude Code, AGENTS.md for Codex, byte-identical bodies, idempotently maintained, nothing outside the markers ever touched. Write the discipline once; every agent on every host obeys it.
Signed, verified, witnessed
The pack manifest is signed in the registry and verified before install, fail closed. Where it goes next: org-authored packs with an editor, per-capability packs, and a drift dashboard showing every host’s pack state at a glance.
Honest state
What is real today, what is planned
- The core dev pack: 20 skills + the shared rules, delivered by dev server registration
- Ed25519-signed manifest in the registry, verified fail-closed before any install
- Backend-neutral rules: managed blocks in CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md, byte-identical, idempotent
- The update channel, proven in a live drill: a record poisoned to v0 healed itself on the next heartbeat, and a rules edit propagated to every host organically within minutes
- Proven end to end on three enrolled fleet hosts, as the day-2 user (the third was auto-provisioned by the update channel itself)
- Org-authored packs: an editor for your own skills and rules, not just ours
- Per-capability packs (a host gets the skills its enabled capabilities need, no more)
- The drift dashboard: every host’s pack version and hash on one board
- More backends as they earn a rules surface

How you get it
Not a product. A feature of Dev Servers.
There is no separate licence, no separate row in the store and nothing to add to a basket. Enrol a host as a dev server and the signed pack arrives with the registration.
Included with Dev Servers
Shared Skills + Rules ships with Dev Servers at $39: enrol a host and the signed pack arrives with registration, then stays current over the update channel. The collector gates the sync on the Dev Servers licence, so that one purchase is the whole story.
The platform underneath
QuoxCORE itself is free during the public beta, on hardware you already own. Dev Servers is what turns one of those hosts into a governed dev server, and the skills and rules ride along with it.
Shared Skills + Rules
Tribal knowledge, retired
A feature of Dev Servers, not a separate purchase. Enrol a host and the discipline arrives with it.
