How can Quox help prepare SOC 2 evidence?
The Compliance Suite generates evidence bundles mapped to each Trust Services Criteria (CC1-CC9). VOLT traces feed the continuous monitoring evidence, collected automatically with no manual spreadsheets or screenshots. Your auditor judges the evidence; Quox does not grant or guarantee certification.
Can we deploy in an air-gapped environment?
Yes. The control plane, policies, memory, secrets and evidence chain run entirely on your infrastructure. Licence activation supports offline mode, and inference runs where you choose: fully local for an air-gapped deployment, or through a model provider you explicitly configure.
How are agent actions made immutable?
Every agent operation produces a VOLT trace entry with a cryptographic hash chain. Each entry references the hash of the previous entry, creating a tamper-evident ledger. Any modification to historical records breaks the chain and is immediately detectable.
What does the Developer Kit include, and is it really free?
Layer SDK for building custom AOCL processing layers, a Layer Playground for isolated testing, hot-reload development, and plugin marketplace access. It is free to everyone as of 2026-08-28: no licence, no seat count, no academic or team tier, because we are not putting a paywall between a developer and the marketplace.
Do the enterprise plugins stack?
Yes. Compliance Suite and Decision Evidence are $599 a year each, $1,198 bought separately. The enterprise bundle takes both for $959 a year, saving $239, which is 20% off. The Developer Kit is included at no charge and contributes nothing to that saving, because it is free on its own anyway.
What compliance frameworks do you support?
SOC2 (Trust Services Criteria), HIPAA (164.312 Security Rule), GDPR (Article 30 Records), ISO 27001 (Annex A Controls), and NIST AI 600-1 risk management. Custom framework templates available on request.
How does licensing work?
Our four protocol specifications (AEE, AOCL, VOLT, WARD) are Apache 2.0, fully open source. The core platform is source-available under the Business Source License 1.1, which is not an open source licence: each version converts to Apache 2.0 on its change date, 2030-03-06 in the current LICENSE file, or four years after that version is first published, whichever comes first.
Most plugins are one-time purchases. Enterprise plugins (Compliance Suite, Decision Evidence) are annual subscriptions, never one-off perpetual licences.
What support is included?
Compliance Suite, Decision Evidence and the free Developer Kit include email support and onboarding assistance. Formal response targets and service commitments will be published with the terms of service; until then we do not advertise an SLA.
