Quox Labs
The trading desk that shows its working.
A patient cockpit of ~80 market indicators, a five-agent desk that reasons over your live signals, and a human-approved order loop where every step leaves a tamper-evident receipt. It answers "what still needs to happen?", never "buy now".
Illustrative simulation · procedural data, not live prices · fills are paper
In plain words
What it is, where it lives, when to reach for it
- What is it
- An agentic trading desk built on QuoxCORE: agents propose trades, you approve, and every order is recorded.
- Where do I use it
- In a QuoxCORE dashboard scoped for your desk; a Quox Labs surface, not a general release.
- When would I use it
- When you trade and want proposals argued from indicators, with your approval required before any order fills.
- How do I use it
- Not self-serve today: each deployment is scoped per desk with us, and fills stay paper until live execution ships.
QuoxCORE is the free, self-hosted platform underneath this. What is QuoxCORE
The governed loop
Propose. Approve. Fill. Witness.
Four steps, one correlation id. The desk never acts alone, and nothing it does is unrecorded.
01 · Desk
Proposes
A specialist agent reasons over your frozen signal snapshot and proposes a concrete order, with its rationale.
02 · You
Approve
It waits at a human gate. No order reaches a venue without your decision. Risk caps and a kill switch guard the fill.
03 · Fill
Executes
The order fills through one venue-agnostic adapter. Paper today, wired for live on your own exchange.
04 · Chain
Evidenced
Propose, approve and fill land as one correlation-linked, hash-chained, exportable audit trail.
The wedge
Everyone else executes blind, or not at all.
Chart-alert tools fire alerts but cannot execute. Bot platforms execute a rule with no reasoning and no record. The exchange is just the venue. None of them can tell you why they acted, ask you first, or hand you a signed audit trail.

The philosophy · Missing Stars
Patience over prediction.
Most tools scream a signal and a direction. QuoxTrade reframes the market as a constellation that has to align: ~80 indicators each answer yes, in-between or no against a real trigger level, and the score is how many stars are lit.
The Missing Stars panel tells you exactly what still needs to happen: a checklist, not a prediction. It is built for the trader trying to avoid the emotional entry.

Inside the desk
Five specialists, one patient council.
The Quant Lead routes your question to the right specialist, which reads the same signals you see and answers in the Missing Stars voice, proposing only through existing contracts, never a private write path.
Quant Lead
Routes and synthesises; holds the shared frame: focus · polarity · horizon.
TA Analyst
Technical read plus suggested trigger levels for the focus asset.
Regime Commentator
The detailed "why": which stars flipped, and what is still missing.
Strategy Suggester
Proposes a trigger set as a named, backtestable strategy. Gated.
Portfolio Reviewer
Reviews open positions against the current regime; flags divergence.
Documentation

Getting started
Install & open
QuoxTrade installs into your QuoxCORE dashboard and appears in the left rail. Open it and you land on Overview. The alignment chip up top shows your focus asset, side, horizon and score at all times. The five module tabs run across the shell; the Quants desk lives in the right sidebar, collapsible to a rail.
The cockpit
Reading the alignment
Each indicator answers yes / in-between / no against a real trigger level you can inspect. The score is the confirmation ratio over the signals relevant to your target, side and horizon. Do not chase the number. Read the Missing Stars list: it names the exact signals that still have to flip before the trade is aligned.
Pick your focus (the scored asset), polarity (buy/sell frame) and horizon (Days / Weeks / Months+) from the shell chip. Everything re-frames around that.
The desk
Asking the Quants
Type a question in the Quants sidebar. The Quant Lead routes it to the right specialist, which assembles the relevant live data slice and answers. The answer is grounded, with the exact data it used cited beneath. It runs on your locally authenticated Claude CLI, so there are no metered API keys.

"Why did the alignment score move?" -> Regime Commentator
"Review my open paper positions" -> Portfolio ReviewerExecution
The governed order loop
On Portfolio, hit "Ask the desk to propose". The Strategy Suggester freezes the current decision-context and proposes a concrete order with its reasoning. It waits as a pending proposal; nothing executes. You Approve & fill, or Reject. On approval it passes the risk gate, fills through the adapter, and opens a position carrying the frozen context.

The kill switch & caps
The kill switch in the proposals header halts all order execution. It is server-durable, not a browser toggle, so it survives a refresh and applies to any automated path. Alongside it, per-order caps (max notional, max daily orders, max open positions) gate every fill. A blocked order is refused and written to the audit trail as quox.trade.risk.blocked.
Evidence
Everything shows its working
Every meaningful action (a regime shift, a desk answer, a proposal, an approval, a fill, a risk block) emits an AEE evidence envelope to the host. From there it flows automatically into AOCL risk classification, a VOLT hash-chain, and a WARD witness.
Actions in one flow share a single correlation id, so propose, approve and fill read back as one tamper-evident, exportable run. A forgeable audit trail is worse than none, so this one is not decorative.
Going live
Connecting a real exchange
Live execution is on the roadmap, and the desk is built for it: a venue-agnostic execution adapter already sits behind the paper venue. When live execution lands, you will create an exchange key with trade scope only, never transfer or withdraw.
Kraken's sandbox is the planned venue for safe live-path testing, and Coinbase Advanced Trade (CDP) for production. QuoxTrade stays non-custodial throughout: keys are held encrypted in the vault, orders execute on your own account, and Quox never moves funds.
Non-custodial
Your keys, your exchange. Quox never holds funds.
No metered API keys
The desk runs on your OAuth Claude CLI, not a per-token bill.
Paper first
Live execution is adapter-ready; today's fills are simulated.

How you get it
Enterprise only, and priced per desk
QuoxTrade is not a self-serve licence. Every deployment is scoped with the desk that will run it.
Talk to us
An agentic trading desk with the evidence layer underneath: every decision, input and handoff witnessed, so what the desk did and why is reconstructable long after the session ended.
Why there is no basket
A desk that acts on markets carries obligations a checkout cannot capture: jurisdiction, controls, retention and who signs off. That conversation comes before a licence, not after it.
