In plain words

What it is, where it lives, when to reach for it

What is it
A free plugin for the QuoxCORE dashboard that backs up, restores and updates your whole installation.
Where do I use it
On the dashboard's System Maintenance page; only organisation admins can see it.
When would I use it
When you are about to update QuoxCORE, or want backups running before anything risky happens.
How do I use it
Add it from the store for free, open System Maintenance, and run a backup or an update.

QuoxCORE is the free, self-hosted platform underneath this. What is QuoxCORE

An update should never be a leap of faith.

Every update is staged, streamed live and ends with a health check on every service. Take a verified backup whenever you want one, and check any restore with a dry run first.

Demonstration

Watch a maintenance run

The real sequence the plugin executes: detect the release, run preflight checks, apply, restart services in rolling order, verify health. Then try the version where the release is bad.

Detect release
Version check against GitHub Releases, changelog attached
Preflight
Docker and service checks before anything changes
Apply update
One click, progress streamed live
Rolling restart
Services restart in order, never all at once
Verify health
Every service reports version and status
maintenance · update run

Recreation of the plugin’s update pipeline. Every operation shown here ships in the free plugin: detection via GitHub Releases, preflight, rolling restart and health verification, plus SHA-256 verified backups and dry-run restores you run on demand.

Restore and version tracking

Every service, every version, in view

Each service reports its version in health checks, so you can see at a glance whether the whole install is in step. Backups carry a SHA-256 proof, and any restore can run as a dry run first.

  • SHA-256 verified backups and dry-run restores
  • Version tracking across all services
  • Update history and changelog display in the dashboard
  • DEFCON-style audit trail, risk-graded GREEN to RED
