Deciding what matters
The orbitofrontal cortex integrates emotional significance with rational evaluation to determine that some things matter more than others. QuoxValue provides this same evaluative faculty through an active concern queue built from fleet heartbeat monitoring.
Every concern receives a priority score from 0 to 100, with cascade events (three or more hosts breaching the same threshold) automatically escalated to priority 90. This is not abstract ranking. It is numeric triage derived from live operational data.
Value also drives salience signals in the memory manager, determining which stored information is most relevant to the current situation. The capability index provides relevance ranking when selecting agents or tools for a task, so delegation decisions factor in what actually matters right now, not just what is available.
Value is not about opinion. It is structured prioritisation based on evidence. When Quox tells you that a particular concern matters more than another, you can see the score and the factors behind it.
