Perception before anyone asks
Just as the visual cortex transforms raw photons into recognisable objects and scenes, QuoxSense transforms operational signals into structured cognitive material. It maintains a per-host ring buffer tracking CPU, memory, and disk utilisation from every fleet heartbeat within a rolling five-minute window. Across a fleet of 29 hosts, that is continuous signal aggregation in real time, not periodic polling or batch collection.
Sense applies threshold detection to every reading: disk above 80%, CPU above 90%, memory above 85%. When three or more hosts breach the same threshold within 60 seconds, it triggers cross-host cascade detection, recognising that isolated warnings have become a fleet-wide event.
Concerns are auto-raised with priority scoring so downstream implants receive graded signals, not raw noise. Without Sense, the rest of QuoxMind operates on what you explicitly tell it. With Sense, it already knows.
Because Sense ships free with QuoxCORE, every installation benefits from real-time fleet signal aggregation from day one. It is the foundation that makes the other implants more capable.
Spec readout
Shipped: the collector's per-host ring buffer, threshold checks (disk 80%, CPU 90%, memory 85%) and cross-host cascade detection (3 or more hosts breaching the same threshold within 60 seconds) run today and persist to the implant_signals table. It does not forecast a breach before it happens; that is QuoxPredict's job.
