Ask Quox
Section titled “Ask Quox”Ask about chat health in your own words:
Is chat working right now? Is it degraded, and which credential is it using?
▤ AOCL │ L1 identity complete · allowed · 1ms
▤ AOCL │ L3 policy gate complete · proceed · 10ms
◐ LLM │ status ✔ LLM │ status │ chat ready: true, degraded: false · 1.9s
◐ CORE │ health ✔ CORE │ health │ 6 services · 4.1s
⛓ AEE │ envelope opened · stream_success
Chat is working and not degraded. The status check reports it ready, with no degraded reason and no fallback in use. Credential: This turn is running on Anthropic (claude-sonnet-5-5) through the Claude subscription login, which is the CLI credentials method. That login is authenticated and has about 345 minutes (roughly 5 hours 45 minutes) left before it expires. Other providers: • OpenAI: available. • Ollama: connected at 203.0.113.44:11434, default model qwen2.5. • Anthropic API key: not set. • Vault OAuth: not set. • Codex CLI: installed but not authenticated. Core services: All six (auth, files, memory, tasks, collector, quoxflow) are healthy. The subscription login expires in about six hours, and no Anthropic API key is configured. If you want chat to keep running on Anthropic past that point, the login will need refreshing. OpenAI and Ollama are there as fallbacks in the meantime.

Quox read the live chat status and reported whether chat is degraded, the state of the six core services, which credential it is using, how long that login has left, and what to watch. This ask covers chat and its services; the commands below check the wider install.

What just happened
Section titled “What just happened”All three commands only read. They changed nothing, so none of them raised an approval. quox doctor probes each service directly; quox status summarises the same estate on one screen.
Check it yourself
Section titled “Check it yourself”Run quox doctor again after any change. If a line shows a cross instead of a tick, that service is the one to look at first.
