Pin a fact every chat should know

Documented Checked against the CLI's current help and source. Not run end to end. CLI 0.4.0, checked 2026-11-05.

How do I make sure it never forgets this?

Pin a memory into the core set, the few memories loaded into every chat turn, and unpin it when it stops mattering.

What you get: the handful of facts and decisions that should shape every answer, chosen by you. You need: a signed-in profile. About 3 minutes.

The core set is the memories loaded into every chat turn: the ones you pin, plus decisions and facts rated high or critical, which join it on their own. The Why column says which.

The memory records when it was pinned and by whom.

unpin
quox memory unpin 01M6MHSYB28DDCY6P09WQ4GPFXUnpinned 01M6MHSYB28DDCY6P09WQ4GPFX: it stays a memory, but is no longer in the core set.quox memory coreNo results.

Unpinning keeps the memory and takes it out of the core set. It also stops the memory joining the core set again on its own.

Pinning and unpinning changed one flag on one memory, under your login, with no approval to wait for. The memory’s text was not touched.

quox memory core lists the core set at any time. Keep it short: everything in it goes along with every turn.

quox memory unpin <id> reverses a pin. We then removed the example with quox memory forget <id> --yes.
