How is my organisation divided?

Ask which divisions your organisation has and what sits inside each one. Then list them yourself.

What you get: your organisation’s divisions in one table, with the departments under each, and a word on any other organisation you belong to.

Ask in plain words:

quox · talking to Quox

Your active organisation is QUOX DEVELOPMENT, and it has 4 divisions:

Division │ Departments

Creative │ Imagery, Video
Development │ New Features, Project Management, Security, Testing
Finance │ none
Marketing │ none

You belong to two other organisations, and neither has any divisions: Sandbox Workspace
and Trial Workspace.

Quox read your organisation directory once. That one read covers every organisation your login belongs to, so the answer lists the divisions in your active organisation, the departments inside each, and says plainly when another organisation has none. It changed nothing.

divisions
quox org divisions listNo results.
From a real run on the demo profile, which has no divisions yet.

An organisation with divisions gets one row each: the id, the name, the description and when it was made. “No results.” means the organisation has not been divided yet.

quox org divisions create --name "<name>" --description "<what it is for>" adds a division. That one writes, and it lands in your organisation’s audit trail. Set up divisions and teams walks through creating, changing and removing them.
